Brenda also helped bring my vision of magnolia leaf wreath chandeliers to life! The wreaths hung from the inside of our wedding tent and looked absolutely beautiful! I loved working with Brenda. My flowers were elegant but did not take away from the beauty of the Dunleith Historic Inn. I wanted the florals to complement, not compete, with the gorgeous property and I think we achieved it! Thank you Moreton's Flowerland! We will cherish our memories of the weekend forever!
I called and spoke with Michael, who is an absolute HOOT and didn't even bat an eye at my requests, which included no carnations, mums, or funeral flowers, and for the message to be about a baby tomato. The flowers were delivered the same day, were pretty, and were reasonably priced. Very pleased with the experience and had a blast talking to him on the phone.
Brenda at Moreton's Flowerland worked with us to create my dream wedding at the Dunleith Historic Inn in November 2017. I wanted there to be lots of green foliage of magnolia leaves and big white magnolia flowers. Unfortunately the magnolia was not in season, so she helped me recreate the look using gorgeous white roses, hydrangea's and even some gardenia! My bridal bouquet was absolutely stunning!
Years later, I am still upset about my experience with this florist for my wedding. My wedding was at dunleith and they had a contract with this florist. Up until the day of my wedding I was very pleased with my experience. I met with a very nice lady, and I showed her pictures of what I wanted. She told me that she could absolutely do what I wanted. I showed her pictures of balls of flowers that were to hang from the tent at the reception. I made it clear exactly what I wanted. She said she could do it and charged me for them. Right before I was about to walk down the aisle, I saw the reception tent and saw basically green florist foam balls with a few roses sticking through them. They were horrible. I thought surely they just weren't finished with them, but I was wrong. Had I known, she intended to leave them that way I would have asked for them to be taken down. I was so upset and embarrassed with the way they looked. My mom called the florist while I was on my honeymoon, and the response she got was that what I wanted would have been "just so expensive". What I paid for was not cheap and I was lied to right up until a few moments before my wedding. Brides, please be careful if you choose this florist. I hope this will prevent someone for making the same mistake I did.
