The WORST experience I have ever had. Which is a shame as a Natchez native and having a mom that was in tourism for 20 years before me moved. We were home visiting family for Christmas. So we stayed in the hotel that my grandfather always does. Which is a pretty high class guy. Man was it a MISTAKE. The first room door wouldn't lock even with the deadbolt, second heater wouldn't work 25 degrees outside. Mind you we loadd and unloaded 2 rooms in very cold weather. So then we get moved to the suites finally. Then my sick husband calls the heater wouldnt come back on but the room was warm. When we finally get back and I get a shower the water is barely warm and you had to let it run for 5 minutes just to get that. Each room had there on cleaning issues but I did notice in every room the vent fan in ever bathroom had thick dust on them. The suite room toliet had brown/yellow spots on base with dust. The 1 good thing about our stay was Carolyn the night shift receptionist. She did everything within her powers. My husband even spoke to the GM John Synder after the holidays didn't seemed phased by our complaint they don't give refund at all. The only thing we where given from the front desk manger was a discount card for 35% to 8 hotels in cities I will never stay in and that we could stay in a suite when visiting. Then we finally realized Saturday 12/30 we must have left our Bible in one of the many rooms we changed. We know it is there because we take care of our stuff. Somehow hosekeeping hasn't found it which doesn't surprise me or they threw it away. Which is not replaceable. Everyone that I know in tourism and all my family/friends will know how poorly run the hotel is.

We booked a room here very last minute and I wish I had read all of the reviews. This place is disgusting. I'm not sure what was worse, the stale people smell in the room, the dirty bathroom or the unwashed sheets and blankets. I could smell other people on the bedding. The bathroom floor looked like it had been mopped in the middle but no-one had wiped down the toilet bowl or floor around it. The molding in the bathroom had so much dust on it. I don't see how these things were overlooked. Thankfully we had our own pillows and flat sheets to make do for the evening. The management didn't seem faded when we mentioned our experience at checkout.

It wasn't as bad as it could have been, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it. There was no shower curtain in the bathroom, so whenever you took a shower the floor would get soaked. Also, when my friend was taking a shower, a roach crawled onto her shoulder. The room was generally dusty and uncleaned and the door wouldn't always close correctly, so somebody could just walk up and open the door which could be dangerous. I would not recommend this motel unless you absolutely cannot afford to stay anywhere else.

This hotel appears to be in process of being updated. Nice vinyl plank flooring in the room, but floor could have been cleaned better. I also did a double check on the sheets because I wasn't confident clean sheets had been put on the bed because there were particles on the sheets where the feet would be. It seemed as if dirty feet got into bed from dirt and dust on The floor. The breakfast was good with a wide selection of hot and cold foods available.

This is a wonderful Days Inn. Actually the best one, by design and look, that I've ever been at. The antebellum look is unique and has great curb appeal. The rooms are standard for Days Inn. Furniture was nice and flat screen Samsung is newer model. Breakfast was really great. They had cereal, bread, biscuits, out meal, grits, gravy, you can make homemade waffles, sausage, eggs..on and on. It was very well setup and they were very attentive to keeping the food area prepped and clean. Room had a nice microwave and mini fridge. For a Holiday Inn this is actually a 5 star, but I did 4 star because I would only give 5 on a higher end hotel; depending on experience. So for a Holiday Inn this is a 5 star in my eyes :)
