The food was hot, fresh, & delicious. Had a good selection on the menu, friendly server, great atmosphere, & live music. The portion sizes were great for the prices. It was four in our party & we had no wait time to be seated. We all ended up taking leftovers with us. The only downside is that we were traveling at night & the place is a bit hard to find at night.
Visiting Natchez for 3 months & enjoy trying all the wonderful restaurants. Our goal is to try & rate all the bread puddings available. Food was fabulous at Roux 61 & bread pudding is tied for first place. Our server, Lauren, was outstanding ... knowledgeable, sweet, cheerful and fun. We haven't been to the same restaurant yet, but will definitely return here.
Hubby had the peacemaker and said it is one of the best po boys he’s had. Ordered extra crispy fries and the are perfection. Corn and shrimp soup is yummy. Take out order was prompt and friendly service.
The wait was not bad at all. Great service! Great oysters! Great cheese sticks! Terrible steak. We ordered the roux 61 bone in ribeye (our favorite way to eat steak-bone in) and it was the worst steak we have ever had. Overall, we were enjoying ourselves until we cut into our steaks and tasted them-we did send steak back to see if anything changed but no change when waitress returned. Great vibes entering bad ones exiting.
Amazing food AND service! Passing thru and had lunch. We're from the New Orleans area and know fine dining well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
